Description
For sample adults who had an exam for oral cancer (CORALEXAMEV) in the previous three years, CORALEXNO reports the number of time units since the respondent's last oral cancer exam. This variable is accompanied by CORALEXTP, which reports the type of time period that the units in the present variable code for.
If respondents responded to this question with a fraction answer (e.g. 2 and 1/2 months ago), the Field Representative's Manual directed interviewers to, "Enter the fraction on the line provided and mark the appropriate timebox."

Universe
- 1992: Half of sample persons age 18+ in quarters 1 and 2, and in 2 weeks of quarter 3 (excluded from CAEP supplement) who ever had or think they had a test for oral cancer and whose month and year of last test was unknown.
