Description

For sample persons aged 18 and older who have ever worked and who reported having at least eight health conditions in the past 12 months and the eighth health condition was related to any job he or she ever had, CON8IND reports the industry classification of the person's job when the eighth health condition occurred.

This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
