Description
For sample persons aged 18 and older who have ever worked and who reported having at least one health condition in the past 12 months and the first health condition was related to any job he or she ever had, CON1IND reports the industry classification of the person's job when the first health condition occurred.
This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
