Description

For sample adults ages 18 and over and sample children ages 4-17 who have reported having at least one top alternative medicine (CAM) therapy and reported using this therapy to treat a specific health problem or condition, COMCOUN reports if the person received mental health counseling for the most important health condition treated by chiropractic or osteopathic manipulation therapy.

Universe

  • 2007: Sample adults age 18+ who have seen a practitioner for chiropractic care in the past 12 months and have used chiropractic care for a specific health problem or condition.
  • 2012: Sample adults age 18+ and sample children ages 4-17 who have reported having at least one top CAM therapy and using this therapy to treat a specific health problem or condition.
