Description
For persons aged 5 to 17 and sample persons age 18 to 24 who did not work or have a job from which they were temporarily absent during the previous 2 weeks and who had schizophrenia, paranoid or delusional disorder, manic episodes or manic depression, major depression, severe personality disorder, Alzheimer's or other senile disorder, alcohol abuse disorder, drug abuse disorder, mental retardation, or other serious mental or emotional disorder in the past 12 months, CMITRSC524 reports if the person has trouble with school attendance or school work due to his or her mental disorder(s).
CMITRSC524 is part of the Mental Health Supplement in 1989 that collects information on the amount and distribution of illness, its effects in terms of disability and chronic impairments, and the kinds of services people receive.
