Description

For persons aged 18 to 69 with schizophrenia, paranoid or delusional disorder, manic episodes or manic depression, major depression, severe personality disorder, Alzheimer's or other senile disorder, alcohol abuse disorder, drug abuse disorder, mental retardation, or other serious mental or emotional disorder in the past 12 months, CMIPREVWK indicates if the mental disorder(s) that the person has now entirely prevent(s) him or her from working at a paid job or business.

CMIPREVWK is part of the Mental Health Supplement in 1989 that collects information on the amount and distribution of illness, its effects in terms of disability and chronic impairments, and the kinds of services people receive.
