Description

For persons who had schizophrenia, paranoid or delusional disorder, manic episodes or manic depression, major depression, severe personality disorder, Alzheimer's or other senile disorder, or other serious mental or emotional disorder in the past 12 months, and currently receives a disability payment through a government program because of this disorder, CMIOTPROG indicates if the person currently receives the payment through a government program other than Social Security Disability Insurance or the Veterans Administration.

CMIOTPROG is part of the Mental Health Supplement in 1989 that collects information on the amount and distribution of illness, its effects in terms of disability and chronic impairments, and the kinds of services people receive.
