Description

For all persons reporting some limitation of activity, CLIMCHRONIC2 reports whether at least one of the reported causal conditions is a chronic condition. It is a recode variable by chronic condition status.

Limitation refers to a person's ability to only partially perform a specific activity, only perform the activity part of the time, or to not perform the activity. The activities are limited because of physical, mental or emotional problems. Short-term conditions (such as pregnancy or injury where full recovery is expected) should not be included as problems.
