Description
For sample children and sample adults with Children's Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) coverage that has an annual deductible (CHIPDEDUCT), CHIPHIDEDUCT indicates whether their CHIP plan is a high deductible plan.
The threshold for whether the deductible is considered high can change from year to year. For example, in 2019, CHIP plans with an annual deductible that was $1,350 or more were considered to be high deductible plans.
