For sample children ages 12-21, BURGYDAY reports if the person ate hamburger, hot dogs, or sausage the day before the interview.
BURGYDAY is part of the Youth Risk Behavior supplement, included in 1992. The supplement includes questions about injury risks, physical fights, weapons use, cigarette smoking, chewing tobacco, alcohol and illegal drug use, AIDS/HIV education, diet and nutrition, physical activities, stays away from home, and sexual behaviors.
