For sample adults age 40+ who have had a blood stool test, BSTY reports the main reason for blood stool test (of an unspecified type). Respondents were shown a card listing three reasons (because of a specific health problem, as follow-up to a previous health problem, and part of a routine physical exam or screening test) or could provide some other reason.
