Description
For sample females ages 40 and older who have had a breast physical exam in the past three years, BREXTOLDHOW reports how the respondent was told about the results of her most recent breast exam: in person, by telephone, through the mail, a combination of methods, or she was never told.

Universe
- 1987: Half of female sample persons age 40+ (excluded from CAEP supplement) who have ever heard of a breast physical exam and have ever had a breast physical exam and had last exam in the past 3 years.
