Description
For sample adults who were using a brace at the time of the interview (BRACE), BRACEANKLE indicates whether the respondent was using an ankle brace.
After asking whether the respondent used a brace to get around, interviewers asked, "What type of brace(s) do you use?" The survey form directed interviewers to, "Enter all that apply."
Other choices included:
- BRACEARM(1990 and 2008)
- BRACELEG(1990 and 2008)
- BRACEBACK(1990 and 2008)
- BRACENECK(1990 and 2008)
