Description

For sample persons age 17 to 64 who ever gave or sold blood to a blood bank, hospital, Red Cross, or anywhere else (BLOODGAVEV), BLOODTOTAL reports the number of times the sample person ever has given or sold blood.

 

The field representative's manual states that "If necessary, help the respondent estimate the length of time by using probes".

Comparability

There are no comparability problems with BLOODTOTAL.
