For sample persons age 17 to 64, BLOODASK indicates if the sample person has ever been asked in person to either give or sell blood.
The field representative's manual states that "only oral contacts in which the respondent was specifically asked to give or sell blood are acceptable."
There are no comparability problems with BLOODASK.
