Description

For a selected group of sample adults age 18 and over, BEERYR is a recoded variable which reports how many times in the past year the respondent drank beer.

Comparability

Apart from changes in the sampling design (see Universe tab for details), this variable is comparable over time.

Universe

  • 1987: Half of sample persons age 18+ (excluded from CACT supplement).
  • 1992: Half of sample persons age 18+ in quarters 1 and 2, and in 2 weeks of quarter 3 (excluded from CACT supplement).
