For all persons, BDDAY2WKDEN reports the number of days that the person was kept in bed for more than half of the day because of a dental condition in the past two weeks.
BDDAY2WKDEN is part of a series of variables used to determine if an illness or injury has caused persons to restrict their usual activities during the two-week reference period. The Dental Health supplement in 1989 included questions about visits to dentists, reasons for not using dental services, use of fluoride products and dental sealants, presence of teeth, and loss of productive time because of dental conditions.
