Description
For sample children who have had an episode of balance or dizziness in the past 12 months, this variable indicates whether the child experienced hearing changes or problems, such as blocked ears or ringing in ears, around the same time as their dizziness or balance problem.
The question for this variable was part of the Sample Child Balance Supplement, sponsored by the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders.
