Description

For sample adults who reported ever treating their balance or dizziness problem (BALTRET), BALTREFOOD indicates whether the person had ever tried "avoiding or cutting back on certain foods or drinks, such as chocolate, coffee or alcohol," for the problem.

The question for this variable was part of the Sample Adult Balance Supplement, sponsored by the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders.
