Description

For sample adults in 2008 who have had symptoms of dizziness or at least one balance problem and take medicine and, beginning in 2016, who had a balance or dizziness problem in the past 12 months or who had at least one symptom of a balance or dizziness problem in the past 12 months, BALRXPROB indicates whether medicine caused the balance problem to get worse.

The question for this variable occurred as part of the Sample Adult Balance Supplement, sponsored by the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders.
