Description
For sample adults age 18 and over who are currently employed or were employed at some time in the past 12 months, who still have asthma, and who were either at least age 16 when asthma was diagnosed (or whose age at time of diagnosis was unknown), or were diagnosed with asthma under age 16 and whose asthma has gotten worse as an adult, ASTHWKCFILEV reports whether or not they have ever filed a worker's compensation claim for their asthma. To see if the respondent received worker's compensation for asthma, refer to ASTHWKCGOTEV.

- 2010: Sample adults age 18+ who are currently employed or were employed at some time in the past 12 months, who still have asthma, and who were either at least age 16 when asthma was diagnosed (or whose age at time of diagnosis was unknown), or were diagnosed with asthma under age 16 and whose asthma has gotten worse as an adult.
