Description

For persons who have ever had arthritis or rheumatism in the past 12 months and who are currently taking at least four prescribed medicines for their arthritis, ARTHRECSUM is a recoded variable that reports the number of prescribed medicines that the person is taking for his or her arthritis. ARTHRECSUM was constructed based on ARTHPRESNOW1, ARTHPRESNOW2, ARTHPRESNOW3, and ARTHPRESNOW4.
