Description

For sample persons age 18 who had a least one drink in the past year, ALCTYP2WK reports if the amount of alcohol they had in the past two weeks was typical of the amount of alcohol they drank during the past 12 months.

In 1988, ALCTYP2WK was part of a supplement on alcohol use. For other years, it was part of the Health Prevention and Disease Promotion supplement periodically included in the NHIS which helped measure national goals towards the Health People Initiative of the U.S. Surgeon General.
