Description

For sample persons ages 18 and over who lived with at least five problem drinkers or alcoholics in their first 18 years, ALC5TP indicates the time unit for how long the fifth problem drinker identified in RELATEALC5 lived with the person. ALC5TP should be combined with ALC5NO, which provides the number of time units for the length of time the problem drinker lived with the respondent. This question is part of the 1988 Alcohol supplement. The person could report relationships for up to five problem drinkers he or she lived with and additional relatives the person did not live with.
