Description
For persons aged 64 and younger who have at least one assistive device that is not brace, artificial limb, hearing aid, or white cane and who used their assistive device at home or somewhere else besides school or work in the last 6 months, ADHPAIDOPUB reports if the person's device(s) used at home or somewhere else besides school and work was/were paid for by any public sources that were not mentioned in the survey.
Sources of payment that were included in the survey include gift (ADHPAIDGIFT), no payment (ADHPAIDNO), self or family (ADHPAIDSELF), private health insurance (ADHPAIDPRI), Medicare (ADHPAIDCARE), Medicaid (ADHPAIDCAID), rehabilitation program (ADHPAIDRE), employer (ADHPAIDEMP), school system (ADHPAIDSCH), Veterans Affairs (ADHPAIDVA), other private source (ADHPAIDOPRI), and other public source (ADHPAIDOPUB).
