Description

For sample adult and sample children, HRTEST reports whether the individual has ever had their hearing tested by a hearing specialist. A hearing test is one performed by a specialist in a sound-proof booth or room, or with headphones. Hearing specialists include audiologists, ear nose and throat (ENT) doctors, and trained technicians or occupational nurses. Sample children are instructed to not include tests performed at birth.
