Description
For sample persons aged 18 and older who worked at a civilian job last year and who had any hand discomfort last year due to an injury that lasted at least 7 consecutive days or at least 20 nonconsecutive days, HDURTN reports the length of time (in number of days, weeks, months or years) of the person's most recent hand discomfort episode.
Users should combine HDURTN with HDURTP, which reports the time unit for the number in HDURTN, in order to get complete information on the length of time of the person's most recent hand discomfort episode.
This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
