Description
For female persons aged 18 to 49 who gave live birth in the past five years and who smoked at any time during their pregnancy but then quit smoking for at least 7 days, QT7DAYSMOPS reports month of pregnancy when the person first quit smoking.

Comparability
Changes in the universe limit the comparability of this variable.
In 1991, this question was asked of females aged 18 to 49 who gave live birth in the past five years, smoked at any time during the last pregnancy, and quit smoking for 7 or more days during last pregnancy.
In 1998, this question was asked of females aged 18 to 49 who had a live birth within the past 5 years, smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their entire lifetime, were smoking when they became pregnant, smoked at some time during their pregnancy, and quit smoking for 7 days or longer during their pregnancy.
Universe
- 1991: Female persons aged 18 to 49 who gave live birth in the past five years, smoked at any time during the last pregnancy, and quit smoking for 7 or more days during last pregnancy.
- 1998: Female persons aged 18 to 49 who had a live birth within the past 5 years, smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their entire lifetime, were smoking when they became pregnant, smoked at some time during their pregnancy, and quit smoking for 7 days or longer during their pregnancy.
