Description

For persons whose policyholder of the second private insurance is on the family roster, HIP2POLCOUT reports, for the second plan, that the plan covers persons outside family roster.

The NHIS provides data for the first two private insurance plans reported. Individuals with more than two private plans have a "2" reported for the variable HIPRIVGT2.

Comparability

There are no comparability issues for HIP2POLCOUT.
