Description
For sample adults aged 40-65 years, LTCFAMNEED indicates whether the respondent had a parent, spouse, sibling, or adult child who needed activities of daily living (ADL) help for at least a year due to a chronic disease or disability.
This variable can be used to monitor the effects of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
