Description
For sample persons ages 18 and older who reported that their mother was ever diagnosed with cancer, MOCTYPE reports the biological mother's type of cancer based on International Classification of Diseases (ICD) code. Please use drop down menus for related variables.
Universe
- 1987: Half of sample persons age 18+ (excluded from CACT supplement) who did not report that they never knew their natural mother, and whose mother was ever diagnosed with cancer and had a valid cancer code.
