Description
For sample persons ages 14-21, SEXLASTALC reports if the person drank alcohol or used drugs before the last time she/he had sexual intercourse. Persons could answer yes, no, or specify that the question did not apply because they had never done this (had sexual intercourse) in their lives.
SEXLASTALC was introduced as part of the Youth Risk Behavior supplement, included in 1992. The supplement includes questions about injury risks, physical fights, weapons use, cigarette smoking, chewing tobacco, alcohol and illegal drug use, AIDS/HIV education, diet and nutrition, physical activities, stays away from home, and sexual behaviors.
