Description
For sample adults, BEEFNO reports how many times the respondent ate beef, such as steaks or roasts, in a specified time period. BEEFNO should be used in conjunction with BEEFTP, which reports the corresponding time unit stated by the respondent. For information about the portion size, see BEEFSIZ.
In 2010, the variable REDMEATMNO was introduced, which reports how many times the respondent ate red meat, such as beef, pork, ham, or sausage.
