Description
For sample adults and sample children ages 2-17 who have not seen the dentist in at least 12 months, DENOTHIN indicates that the person responded that they "didn't think of it" when asked to provide a reason for not seeking dental care.

Universe
- 1989: Persons age 2+ who have not been to the dentist in at least 12 months.
- 1999: Sampled persons age 2+ who have not been to or talked with a dentist in at least 12 months.
