Description
For sample persons aged 18 and older who worked at a civilian job last year, who had at least three on-the-job injuries last year resulting in medical attention beyond minor first aid, OR inability to do some work activities, OR loss of consciousness, OR transfer to another job, and who reported missing any time from work OTHER THAN scheduled full days reported in WI3MISSFD because of their third injury, WI3MISSHD reports the number of days in which the person missed at least a half day of work because of the person's third injury, excluding the number of scheduled full days missed from work reported in WI3MISSFD.
Respondents were instructed to not include the day when the injury occurred.
This variable was included in the 1988 Occupational Health supplement.
