Description
For children age 5-17 years whose speech was difficult to understand (SPEECHPROB), SPEECHINTEL reports if the child's speech could "be understood at all". As indicated above, this question was only asked for affirmative answers to SPEECPROB, in which respondents were if, "Because of a physical or mental health condition, is -- speech difficult to understand?"
The term "understood at all" was respondent defined, as a definition was not provided to the respondent and not given in the Field Representative's Manual.
