SLEEPYYR indicates whether sample adults regularly had excessive sleepiness during the day during the past 12 months.
Comparability
This variable is comparable over time.
In 2002 and 2007, information was also collected on whether sample adults (and sample children age 3 to 17 in 2007 only) had insomnia or difficulty sleeping during the past 12 months (INSOMNIAYR).
