Description

For sample female adults who have ever taken estrogen and progestin AND who were ages 18-39, not pregnant, and had a menstrual period in the past three months that was less regular or lighter than a year ago OR who were ages 40-49 and not pregnant OR who were ages 50 and older, PROGNOW reports whether the respondent was taking medication with progestin at the time of the survey. Respondents were prompted that, "Progestin is a female hormone that may be taken in addition to estrogen therapy. Have you ever taken progestin, like Provera, for any reason?" Respondents were told not to include birth control pills.
