Description
For sample female adults who have ever taken estrogen AND who were ages 18-39, not pregnant, and had a menstrual period in the past three months that was less regular or lighter than a year ago OR who were ages 40-49 and not pregnant OR who were ages 50 and older, PROGESEV reports whether the respondent ever took a medication with progestin.

Universe
- 1999: Female sample adults who have ever taken estrogen AND who were age 18-39, not currently pregnant or unknown if pregnant, and had a menstrual period in the past 3 months that was less regular or lighter compared with 12 months ago OR who were age 40-49 and not pregnant or unknown if pregnant OR who were age 50+.
