Description
For sample persons age 40 and over who have heard of a proctoscopic exam and have had a proctoscopic exam, and who are unclear about the time of their last exam, PROCEX135YR reports if the time of their last exam was 3 years ago or less, between 3 and 5 years, or 5 or more years ago.

- 1987: Half of sample persons age 40+ (excluded from CAEP supplement) who have heard of a proctoscopic exam and have had exam, and whose month and year of last exam is unknown and time since last exam is unknown, and whose reported last exam was 1 year or more ago.
