Description
For sample persons who were ever told by a doctor that they had high blood pressure/hypertension, HYPERTENSTIL reports whether the person STILL has hypertension.

Universe
- 1974: Sample persons age 17+ who have ever been told by doctor that they had high blood pressure or hypertension and were not bothered a great deal by hypertension.
- 1982: Sample persons age 17+ who were ever told by a doctor that they had high blood pressure/hypertension.
- 1985; 1990: Sample persons age 18+ who were ever told they had high blood pressure (other than during pregnancy).
- 1991: Sample persons age 18+ who were ever told they had high blood pressure or borderline high blood pressure (other than during pregnancy) or for whom it was unknown whether they were ever told they had high blood pressure not during pregnancy.
