Description

For sample persons ages 18 and over who estimated how often a heavy drinker drinks, HVYDRINKAMT indicates how many drinks the respondent believes a person must have on the days when they drink to be considered a heavy drinker. HVYDRINAMT should be combined with HVYDRINKNO, which provides the number of time units for how often the respondent believes a person must drink to be a heavy drinker, and HVYDRINKTP, which provides the time unit for how often the respondent believes a person must drink to be a heavy drinker.
