Description
For adult persons with confirmed diabetes who are current smokers, DIACIGSDAY reports the average number of cigarettes smoked per day.
This variable was included in the 1989 Diabetes supplement and is complementary to CIGSDAY, which in 1989 was asked of sample adults who did not have diabetes. For related variables, please use the IPUMS NHIS search function and drop-down menus.
