For sample adults age 40 and older who ever had a colorectal screening exam and reported the time since her/his most recent colorectal exam as a number associated with a time period, CRENO reports the numerical component of the person's response. Users should combine this variable with the variable reporting the time period associated with the recency of last colorectal exam to define the time since the sample adult's most recent exam.
