Description
For persons who mentioned that they had manic depression in the past 12 months and whose doctor or other health professional gave a diagnosis of manic depression, CMIMANDTECH reports if the doctor or other health professional used another technical or specific term to refer to the person's manic depression.
This variable is part of the Mental Health Supplement in 1989 that collects information on the amount and distribution of mental illnesses, its effects in terms of disability and chronic impairments, and the kinds of services people receive.
