Description
ABPAN2WKYR reports whether all of the pain resulting from the condition identified in ABPSELCON occurred during a single two week period in the previous year. This question was only asked if the respondent indicated the pain lasted for 14 days or less in ABPANDAYR.
Comparability
This variable has no comparability issues.
Universe
1989: Sample persons age 18+ who had abdominal pain 3 or more times in past 12 months and who didn't report a nondigestive condition as the cause of such pain and who had such pain 1 to 14 days in the past year.
